GCC : GCC Printers

And by this time we were also making printers for the Mac. GCC still exists (as of 2004) as a printer company, so this is the one piece of what I knew that survives.

That's an Apple LaserWriter there. We didn't ship our first printer (the PLP) until 1987.

Dave - you are of course correct (logo and all). Were we just saying that you could print more because you had a hyperdrive?

I have to admit to being amazed that GCC still exists (existed?). Rumor had that it folded in the late 80s after the implosion of the game industry and the mega layoffs. I guess reinventing oneself is part of the business arena, as always.
